On August 26, 2012- On behalf of Future Faces Foundation and the IamMeg girls,  I went to distribute packed relief goods for 38 families who were staying in the covered courts of San Mateo. These families are staying in the covered courts of San Mateo as their houses have been completely damaged by the floods.
We had prepared 45 “Relief Bags,” 38 were given accordingly to those staying at the covered courts while the remaining were given to the families (in order of their current state) that have gone home however are still recovering from the floods.

Each Relief Bag includes: A Bag of Rice, 6 cans of Sardines, 4 cans of Corned Beef, 1 Pack (of 12) of Instant Noodles and 2 Packs (15 each) of Bisuits
We also brought 4 boxes of Clothes (all of which were donated at Heartistry) – this includes Infants, Children, Adults (Male and Female) and Male Shoes

Thank you to Mrs. Diaz (wife of San Mateo Municipal Mayor Jose Rafael Diaz) and the rest of the San Mateo leaders who helped us distribute the items in an organized manner.
Thank you to those who attended Heartistry2 and donated clothes on the day of the event.

The Future Faces Manila Team held our second fundraising event (Heartistry 2) last August 10, 2012. We raised P459,780 this year. In light of the recent flooding in the Philippines, the Future Faces Manila Team decided to donate a total of 25,000 to flood victims, and P300,000 to continue to support 6 students through the Tzu Chi Foundation. The remaining will support our newest scholar, Vincent Sunglao
